Rachel Mazza, President of Throggs Neck Girls Softball League along with team players visit
NYCs Top Dog!
Rachel Mazza coordinated the collection of goods on December 17th at Preston High School. Throggs Neck Softball League players and parents then delivered the donations to NYC's Top Dog facility later that day. The children were able to spend some time with the animals and ask questions while they toured the facility. Pedro and staff explained the overpopulation crisis of animals here in NYC, and the importance of responsible pet ownership.
Donations included towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, and newspaper. Wee Wee Pads, Brooms, Mops, Detergent, Air Freshener, Paper Towels, Dog and Cat food, Food Bowls, Toys, Collars, Leashes, Treats, Peanut Butter, Pet Beds, Cat Litter and much more.
It was a fun filled day!
